Fahari Academy will serve students in the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades in the Fall of 2011. New York City charter schools, like Fahari, must give preference to students residing in the Community School District (CSD) in which the charter school is located. Fahari Academy Charter School is located in CSD 17. While CSD 17 residents are granted preference, all families with students entering the 5th or 6th grade are invited to apply. Those interested in 5th grade placement should complete one(1) lottery application per student. Persons interested in 6th grade placement are required to submit one(1) waitlist application per student.
